PUBLIC ART WORKS
The" relationship between "high" and "popular" culture, their fading differences and their increasing interchangeability. The high culture as a frame, a pedestal, the culture of highlighting and the popular culture as the unlimited, undefined form of culture. The public art as an experiment of communication to the wide population.
The new artistic strategies of the ‘90s. The ignorance of differences between transmission and reception, creation and interpretation. The fading myth of the originality in the creation. The artistic action as a tool, carrying aesthetic possibilities in itself, aiming the generating and exploitation of cultural and other interactions amongst people.
Speech bubbles/Public lavatory, 2008. 09. 13.-09.26. 2 weeks performance+installation
This project consists of an installation and a happening. These two parts have different functions, but their purpose is the same. My conception was very simple. I didn’t want to state any personal opinion; rather my purpose was to do something experimental which is much more made by the public instead of me. I just wanted to ensure some surfaces for expression and communication forms. In my project the two different works have a visual facade which unifies them. This sign is a speech-bubble, well-known from comic books. This sign became a brand of these projects, symbolising the communication between the locals and me.

Light-sharing, 2010. Performance, installation, Pécs, Szt. István Square, 2010. 06. 12.-26.
This work included a two week long performance and an installation which were located in the front of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Pécs. The installation is made of a trivial party accessories, a twenty-inch plastic sticks with intensive light inside by chemical reaction for twelve hours. In the tubes were small text prints with quotes. All of the texts connected in some way to the phenomena of light. But in contrast from the trivial and profane subject of the light-tubes, the concept of the quotes dealed with the light in methaphysical not in physical meaning. However, because of the limited life of the tubes and the quotes, which brings this short term wisdoms, the whole action became an ironic frame.
